This project involved creating a detailed 3D virtual representation of a section of Columbia University's campus. The goal was to give prospective students and visitors an immersive, interactive tour experience, showcasing the architectural and spatial qualities of one of New York's most iconic campuses.
I refined existing 3D models, enhancing geometry and details for both realism and performance. This meant finding the balance between visual fidelity and the technical constraints of an interactive real-time environment: every polygon had to earn its place.
I applied textures, set up realistic lighting using Arnold, and prepared the scene for rendering, making sure every corner of the virtual campus felt cohesive, lived-in, and true to the real space.
